At our clinic, we provide patients with detailed explanations regarding their treatment and proceed only after obtaining their informed consent. However, as we do not have staff members who are able to provide explanations in foreign languages, all explanations and communication regarding treatment will be conducted in Japanese. If you are unable to fully understand explanations about your treatment in Japanese, please be aware that all documents, including treatment consent forms, are written in Japanese. In addition, language barriers may prevent us from responding promptly and appropriately in the event of an unexpected problem or a medical emergency during treatment. For these reasons, we are only able to provide treatment to patients who have a sufficient understanding of Japanese, or who are accompanied by an interpreter who can communicate effectively in Japanese. In recent years, patients have become increasingly involved in and informed about their medical and dental care. This policy is necessary to prevent misunderstandings regarding treatment and to reduce the risk of problems arising from differences in interpretation or communication. We sincerely appreciate your understanding of these circumstances and kindly ask for your cooperation.
